So it’s been a few days since my manager broke the news to me that I need to find a new job. And I have done…nothing.
I prayed to God to grant me peace and fought for my mental health. But in terms of looking for a job, I’m not ready for that yet.
So you can imagine my surprise when a recruiter reached out to me for a role AND I was contacted for a freelance gig.
TWO opportunities?! All while I am still waiting for my current employer to confirm the details of my retrenchment??? That is AMAZING!
Like I know that God works all things for good but this blew my mind. Something may or may not come from these opportunities but again, I am not stressing. My responsibility is to serve and obey the Lord. My responsibility right now is to take care of my mental health. Everything else I hand over to Him.
